VBR Configuration Database Settings

  2. The password configured for the Configuration Database is expired
  3. Add a password for restoring your Configuration Database
  4. Direct your Configuration Database files to immutable storage

The answer to the Thurs question is as follows…

a. is the correct answer (link to follow); b. is incorrect because the encryption pwd for the Config DB has nothing to do with the warning displayed in the DB settings; c. is incorrect because you only provide the pwd for the Config DB when performing a restore task, and the image doesn’t show restoration; and, again..the warning has nothing to do with any password; d. is incorrect because what type of immutable vs non-immutable storage you place your DB backup on has nothing to do with the warning message displayed. And be advised...placing Config DB on immutable storage is only supported for Object Storage and only starting with VBR v12.1.
