K10 expansion

Hi

I m not sure i using the correct term in the topics, i understand in Veeam backup we can create additional proxy server to handle more backup workload. how about in K10? if the environment growing larger and we need more concurrent backup and handle more workload, how K10 approach?

Here are some of the ways k10 can be expanded. 

  1. Increasing the number of Executor Pods . By default its 3 and based on the environment it can be increased to share the load
  2. Increasing the concurrent snapshot conversions. concurrentSnapConversions option in k10-config config map . By default it will have 3 . This speeds up the exports if you have more number of pvc’s

Kasten Support can always review the customer environment and give the guidance over the expansion as every environment can be different .
