Veeam v12.1 and old DD OS

Hi community,

if you are using Dell Data Domain and you are planning to upgrade to v12.1, be careful and read well the documentation, especially release notes (https://www.veeam.com/veeam_backup_12_1_release_notes_rn.pdf):

Dell Data Domain: the supported operating system version is 7.3 to 7.12. Upgrade to it, or the
backup jobs pointed to this repository will fail to start.

As @foggy explained to me in the R&D forum, “earlier versions are already End Of Support from the Dell side and 7.3 is required for Retention Lock support from the API perspective“
