The VMware Converter has failed to convert correctly the virtual disk.
- Convert task success.
- hd1 size error (vShepere vCenter : 0 😎 / no disk detected (vSphere ESX, General View) / hd1 8 GB (Edit Settings ESX). NB : VMDK= 33 GB, Thick provisionning.

As said by “https://hyper-converged.com/2020/03/06/migrate-vm-from-hyper-v-to-vmware-with-veeam-v10/”

Veeam 10 can migrate a VM from Hyper-V to VM-ware.

Does anyone had this issue and had fixed it with “Instant VM Recovery” of VEEAM 10 ?
Is a VEEAM Licence for VMware and for Hyper-V needed ?

Hey! It’s not a license restricted feature: veeam_vbr_one_10_editions_comparison_ds.pdf

Best thing to do is dig into some of the Veeam logs to find out what’s going on. Have you tried SureBackup on the Hyper-V backup? Do we know it’s actually a working, good backup before trying to recover?
