Here’s the VTT VMCE practice question this week. You may need to think about this a bit 😏
Please hide your comments...and good luck!

Hourly backup jobs are configured to local repositories.  Daily backups must be sent from Site B to the repository on Site A.  The connection between the two sites does not allow a direct backup to complete within the backup window.  Veeam WAN accelerators in low bandwidth mode will be leveraged.  Which Veeam components will be used and in which order for the backup copy job?

Site A and Site B
  1. Components 2 > 3> 4 > 5 > 6
  2. Components 6 > 5 > 4 > 3 > 2
  3. Components 6 > 4 > 3 > 2
  4. Components 6 > 4 > 1 >2

This week’s VTT question’s answer is below…

To answer this question, you simply just need to know the path the traffic traverses based on the requirement the question states → from Site B to Site A. The environment in this scenario uses WAN Accelerators because the link is probably too slow (because the Accelerators are using Low Bandwidth mode) for a Direct connection. Because these components are used, they must be a part of the solution. A. is wrong right off the bat because of the direction the question requires..B to A and a. references going from A to B. The only other question you need to answer is if Proxies are used in data transfer, and the answer is no, so that fact removes 2 other options of b. and d., leaving the correct answer as c. Components 6 > 4 > 3 > 2

    Components 6 > 4 > 3 > 2

Since B is source, from Site B repo > Site B Wan Acc <over WAN> site A Wan ACC then site A Repo
