KodeKloud Engineer

Hi Folks,

I have been doing the KodeKloud Engineer off and on for a while now. It is an excellent free resource. You sign up for this make believe company and you get assigned various Devops tasks. The assignments are at times hard and the further you progress (you get promoted after reaching a certain level of points) the harder the tasks are. You get hit with everything from Ansible to Kubernetes and it very much does mimic a real work situation, hence my needing vacations, you can turn on an out of office and it will stop assigning you tasks :)

I highly recommend this resource and considering it is free you have nothing to lose.

cheers

This is great and will try and factor this into #90DaysOfDevOps I have to do a post to share with everyone in here about that as well. Been a busy week getting back to things.

It does get quite tough as you go along. Some of the ansible tasks I am getting are way above my level. I suspect they are pulling the old “beating you up in the playground” trick to get you to take boxing lessons :) but on the other hand it does really make you better.

Definitely post about the 90days here too. I have cloned the repo myself and finding time to go through, great initiative. The problem I am finding now is that there is so much out there it becomes hard to monitor and I keep missing stuff
