We’re getting close to the end of the year, but I still have VMCE practice questions to share, starting with the 1st one for this week below. Please remember to hide your comments

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A Backup Job using a Scale-Out Backup Repository is running low on disk space in the Performance Tier. What is the best way to reclaim space on this Tier?
  1. Copy backup data to Capacity Tier
  2. Go into Backups > Object Storage and select Delete From Disk unneeded VMs
  3. Reformat the Performance Tier Repository
  4. Move backup data to Capacity Tier
  1. Move backup data to Capacity Tier.
    That said, I like option c - depending on if you feel like coming back into work the next day.
Thanks for posting these questions btw; Currently on day 2 of instructor-led training for the VMCE and the knowledge checks are very helpful 🙏🏻
Ok, let’s get to the answers for this week’s questions, starting with this one. See below:
Let’s go through each option to see why it isn’t correct, and why the one that is...is correct. Options a.-c. are not correct. Let’s see why → For a., copying, while it does make a copy of Perf Tier data on the Capacity Tier, doesn’t alleviate the space issue on the Performance Tier, so this one isn’t correct; I think options b. and c. are obvious...but if you want me to explain further, let me know 😉 And that leaves us with d. Move backup data to Capacity Tier. This does exactly what it says...moves your backup files on the Perf Tier to the Capacity Tier, alleviating the capacity problem the org experience, all the while retaining a copy of the backup files.
