At first, thanks a lot for the response.  Hi, thanks for posting in the forums. Can you post some more details about your storageclass? Is it a CSI based storage class? Can you post the output of “kubectl get sc” command? If it’s a CSI based storageclass can you test the CSI with the opensource tool “kubestr” https://kubestr.io/ Run ./kubestr csicheck -s <storage class> -v <volume snapshot class> and post the results? You made me unsure about the deployment of the volumesnapshotclass, but I have deployed it from this Documentation.  Details:Rook-Ceph 1.7.4 Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS newest Updates Kubernetes 1.22.2 Containerd 1.4.12 What about the deprecation message? Could this be a problem? How do you guys install the external-snapshotter? And which version? I can also post my volumesnapshotclasses if needed.

Okay it seems that I can snapshot again. Thanks a lot guys. I used the tools kubestr and the tools from the prerequisites to check anything.What I did: I downloaded again the files from the external-snapshotter https://github.com/kubernetes-csi/external-snapshotter  (Just ignored anything except the “headings” Install Snapshot CRDs Install Common Snapshot Controller I deleted the deployed components with kubectl delete -f (snapshot crd AND snapshot-controller) I installed the snapshot CRDs i uninstalled in step 1 (but with kubectl apply -f crd/ not kubectl kustomize crd/ | kubectl apply -f - (that made problems) installed the snapshot controller uninstalled in step 1 (same here, just kubectl apply -f . I downloaded again the snapshotclass-yamls vor cephfs and rbd https://github.com/rook/rook/tree/master/deploy/examples/csi and applied them. Dont forget to add the annotations for k10 again! https://docs.kasten.io/latest/install/storage.html#csi-snapshot-configuration After that I rete

K10 - Cleanup Backup Location

Sorry my late answer, that worked for me. If I want to cleanup the Snapshots it is possible to delete them. Would be nice if I could delete multiple snapshots at once!

Let’s see if our captain @Geoff Burke has a solution, but until then have you open a ticket support directly with Veeam?  Hey @marcofabbri, no, we have no subscription at the moment because we are still validation k10 to be sure that it does its job how we want it. We are also on six nodes cluster at the moment Thanks a lot for your really fast reply.

Failed to connect to the backup repository - invalid repository password

Hi @Geoff Burke,  thank you and sorry for the missing information. I try to give you as much as I can. These are the things I found out the last hours:The snaphots are only left inside the cluster. K10 shows that there are “0” restore-points for my application.  I validated the application and the export profile.  I recreated the nfs profile, but no change. I made sure that it has the same name and path and k10 detects it after recreating it (I got a warning that some policies would be effected if it is missing, after recreating the profile, they were gone) I tried to find out if the secret is missing and it is still there. I also decrypted it and compared it with the secret I stored on creation. It is the same and it didn’t change.  So k10 doesnt see any snapshots, exports and volumesnapshots are missing. I can only create a new snapshot and it is working until it gets to the part to the nfs-export. If it gets to this point, the error-message shown above is generated.  I checked and r

Hey, can anyone say something about this kind of issue? I am really afraid to have an inaccessible backup again. Could I prevent this kind of issue if I use another external backup location like S3? Thanks a lot

Hi @SMT-Almato  Thank you for sharing the logs. Invalid repository password happens usually when you reinstall K10. This way, the MasterKey K10 uses changes causing the mismatch while connecting to the kopia repository in your target NFS location. However, I don’t see any re-installation recently from the logs you have shared. Also I see that all the K10 secrets are intact.  This shouldn’t be happening unless there is something wrong. Would you be able to elaborate more on the network issue that you mentioned in the post ? Thanks a lot for your response @jaiganeshjk. We don’t know exactly what happened and we won’t get a more detailed explanation for this. In the end I found out, that one of the nodes also had problems since this day and I decided to reboot every node in the cluster. After that k10 could find my backups from nfs again until the day of desaster. The backups taken after this outage where gone. I only had the volumesnapshots remaining in the cluster. I will now take the

@jaiganeshjk Thanks a lot! I will definitely try an upgrade from 5.0.0 to 5.0.7 and report back! I searched in the release notes before, but that was in the time 5.0.2 was released!
