File Share to Immutable Repository

Hi Everyone,

I just created an immutable repository using Azure Blob storage and connected to it using a Veeam 12 B&R client on Windows.

I was hoping to create a File Share job to send a small set of data to the immutable repository but this doesn’t seem to be an option as when I do a new file share job the immutable repository is not available to select.

Have I maybe missed something when configuring my Blob or Repo or is this just not possible?

Thanks.

I don’t believe Azure Blob is supported @Flat Metcher . From the User Guide, see bullet 5 underneath the table which states as such.

Shane is correct as the page he posted it is stipulated there in bullet 5 -

  • Amazon S3 Glacier and Azure Blob Storage Archive Tier are not supported for unstructured data backup.
