We are excited to announce that Veeam Backup for Salesforce 3.0 has been released!

This major release is shipped with many new features and enhancements:
- Data archival policies to archive data and files from Salesforce and avoid expensive storage purchase. Requires a Salesforce Advanced license type
- Data encryption to secure data in transit and at rest, making it protected from DBAs and restore operators
- Improved restore including enhanced hierarchy restore configuration, additional fields mapping options, revamped restore engine
- 30% faster data backup speeds and reduced API call consumption during backup, as well as better support for slow Salesforce connections
- Data reload jobs for ad-hock full backup for an object or a set of fields
- Data change alerts
- Internet proxy support
- Rocky Linux and AlmaLinux support, RHEL 9.x
- New type of licensed Salesforce users – Platform User
