See you soon!
Looking forward to this. I attended Dell Technologies World virtually a couple weeks ago, using the same cvent.com site and it was just okay. I gathered that I missed out on a lot virtually that folks got in person, but the virtual content was very entry-level and there wasn’t much in-the-weeds content for folks, so I’m hoping Veeam does it better. I don’t think it was the tools used as much as what content they chose to make virtual. Fingers crossed Veeam!
Just did some rehearsals for general session demos. We are pushing the limits from what we’ve done prior. Will be epic!
Hello @Rick Vanover!
Just passing to say that my first impressions on virtual version of VeeamOn are being amazing!
Platform are easy to use and is very quick and responsive.
LabWarz is very funny!
When is V12 going to be available?
We are showing beta 2 at VeeamON - this should be the last beta! Release Candidate is next.
Great! Such discussion board was the most active post of VeeamON 2021!
The new VeeamOne interface looks really nice.
Cannot wait to try it out in the lab.
This is going to be great. Will gather thoughts and post back with more details later.
Day 1 - great first day not too much action. Registered and then visited Tech Town and the Expo Hall. Tech Town was great as it had HOLs and LabWarz along with being able to get swag if you are VMCE or VMCA. Expo hall was great all vendors and swag shop along with some cute dogs. Tomorrow gets in to the real heavy duty sessions so looking forward to it. Until tomorrow.
SOBR rebalance!!! It is here!!
Just for info: If you missed an on-demand session on schedule, you can replay it afterwards.
How cool is that, a PowerShell Code game!!
With Veeam : it’s ready when it’s ready and I love that!

It will be streamed again today 20:15 CEST.
Thanks … on my list
Cool, more information about immutability!
A lot of numbers, best-practices and math in session “Veeam Backup for Microsoft Azure Deep Dive into Best Practices” !!! Very handy when implementing Veeam Backup for Azure for a large number of workloads.
At the bottom of the session it’s possible to download the presentation .
Nicely done!
Also not to forget the new features/changes in version 4 : backup file-shares, private network deployment, configuration backup and redesigned dashboard with a bottleneck overview .
Day 2 - starting with keynote with CEO Anand Eswaran. Great way to kick off things. Sessions are after this so will report towards end of day on those. Great to be back in person.

A recap for session “Veeam Backup & Replication v12: What's new and introduction” :
Good summary!
Cool new feature in Tape-support in v12 too:
now it is not that simple to see what job operates which tape drive.
Bad news with tape: File to Tape is now licensed!
Good news with File to Tape Backup: Backup files are excluded from licensing!
Bad news with tape: File to Tape is now licensed!
That’s indeed bad news for several customers backing up there NAS shares using file to tape...
Wow - session for SPs is amazing. Anyone attending VeeamON should attend if you are an SP. Highly recommended. Lots of amazing new v12 stuff coming for SPs!!

But at least its much better, than before ...
Yes, the performance increase is huge with V12. So, this will be very good.
Ok, the licensing is not so good, but Veeam Backup files do not count for the licensed data.
