nice new protection calendar, i hope it will be possible to generate a report/extract automatically from this or expose it with Grafana
Such a calendar would a great enhancement if it was integrated in VBR. I often have customers asking for this and not everyone has Veeam ONE.
I attended Virtual and it is awesome @Rick Vanover
Nice new Protection Calendar in Veeam ONE v12!
Loving the new VONE interface and seeing it live.

Yeah, you can roll-out and update the plugins from the VBR server with V12
Very nice, I have to watch the session too!
Yes, I want to have the Beta2 now and play around with this
i’m sure it was available in beta 1? I’m planning my DB expert to move from scheduling rman with software scheduler to vbr scheduling to be able to raise limitations about loadbalacing on repo, encryption and immutability on this part. I hope this functionality will be satisfactory because otherwise the licensing on file to tape backup job will be a financial problem.
Just watching the general session from yesterday! How cool is that? DRaaS for the masses!
CDP to the cloud!
When is Veeam Disaster Recovery Orchestrator V6 going to be available?

so much good content!
Curious what everyone thought of the “Interview with a PM” segments; that was a new experiment.
Great session with Dima @Rick Vanover ! In that way you are virtually closer with the PMs of Veeam, nice to know their better
And also those stories are great
Looking forward to the following session with @Rick Vanover : Veeam Ransomware Best Practices for Secure Backup & Recovery
Absolutely recommended session !!! Thx a lot for bringing this to us @Rick Vanover !
Yes, I have to watch the recording of this session. Two interesting sessions at the same time….

Very interesting about the plugins for enterprise applications. The central controlling, roll-out and update is super.
The plugin for MS SQL with the integration into the MS SQL Management Studio looks very good, too.
The question if the files produced via a plugin are included into the licensing of file-to-tape jobs couldn’t be answered at this time. It will be clarified before V12 goes GA. We will see. This would be an expensive thing for us if these files are included into the licensing…
SOBR rebalance!!! It is here!!
Yes, VeeaMover rules!
I miss this. Which sessions was it?
Ah so VeeaMover is in core architecture 1 or core architecture 2; which are in the in-person sessions which will be in the virtual platform in 2 weeks or so.
Ohh good to know! Tks Rick.
Yeah, you can roll-out and update the plugins from the VBR server with V12
Great Demos during the Technology General Session. Especially @Rick Vanover doing it from an instant recovery

Bad news with tape: File to Tape is now licensed!
That’s indeed bad news for several customers backing up there NAS shares using file to tape...
But at least its much better, than before ...
Yes, the performance increase is huge with V12. So, this will be very good.
Ok, the licensing is not so good, but Veeam Backup files do not count for the licensed data.
I hope RMAN files generated by Veeam will be excluded from this or migration with v12 on new oracle functionnalities should be fast… File To Tape Job for RMAN is mandatory for the moment.
I have asked exactly this question in the session, but unfortunately got no answer to this.
Perhaps we will get it today in the session about the V12 plugins.
