Wireshark is a popular packets analyzing tools, and it’s crazy amazing. Before starting, it requires a network card to be able to enter which mode to sniff all network traffic?

  • T-shark mode
  • Base1-driver mode
  • Promiscuous mode

promiscuous mode! It’s the closest thing wireshark can do to a true managed switch monitoring port 🙂

I suggest everyone to try Wireshark on your pc to just look packets flow! Again, JUST ON YOUR PC, not for sniffing purposes
