Hi Everyone,
Tomorrow bright and early I am flying off to Chicago to take part in my first ever security conference.
This will be an impostor syndrome event for me or perhaps a secret Veeam/OF stealth agent thing 😁. Data Protection like it or lump it has moved into the same lane as IT security, or at least in the parallel lane due to many factors but most importantly ransomware. I have signed up for 4 hour Cybersecurity Trustmark Workshop but don’t know really what to expect. There will be other interesting sessions and I hope to meet and network with some of the top IT security pros in the world. I will report back anything that might be of interest to all the backup fans out there and as usual will try to find good shots for my LinkedIn account. I am not sure this will be much of a swag event as security folks don’t seem to be in to swag as much. Perhaps I will be proved wrong!
