Which key is used in auth.ldap.bindPWSecretName for K10 6.5.12 Helm chart?

Hello @donaldleung  So, the password reference is related to the password used for the useraccount specified as the bindDN. auth.ldap.bindDN=user K10 will use to access the Domainauth.ldap.bindPWSecretName= the user used for bindDN Password, stored as a secret.  If you do not wish to use a secret, you may use auth.ldap.bindPW. ThanksEmmanuel

Hello @mario.t  Definitely sounds like some strange network problem in the cluster. Due note Network problems will create Fluentbit error’s this is a side effrect of the networking issue accessing between the pods.  ThanksEmmanuel

Hello @mario.t  Fluentbit comes with K10 by default. This error is normal initially but if it is consistent then possibly a port could be blocking Fluentbit access. I would also note that by default K10 works with no network policies. If you are using any you would need to set these up with K10 in mind. ThanksEmmanuel

Hello @mario.t  Thanks for providing the logs. After looking over the logs it look to be possibly a issue with accessing Catalog. The rule of thumb with Istio is K10 has to be outside of management of Istio. Please take a look into this link. https://istio.io/latest/docs/setup/additional-setup/sidecar-injection/ ThanksEmmanuel

Restore of removed namespace failed

Hello @eztech  So, I am looking over this issue and I am noticing that it looks to be you are having problems in your environment with your CNI and the Gateway-svc pods. failed to setup network for sandbox "33714bc5a5c2ce3c005402fc0896e7477d6f66c76680b01da5ff31e1b42c32d8": plugin type="flannel" failed (add): loadFlannelSubnetEnv failed: open /run/flannel/subnet.env: no such file or directory I would recommend taking a look over flannel logs during the time the Gateway Pod attempts to start. ThanksEmmanuel

Kasten K10 Operator install in Openshift has excessive amount of helm revisions on K10 instance?

Hello @Miimikko, So, You shouldnt list Helm History as they dont have much to do with each other. I would recommend you do not have Helm K10 installed with Operator K10. Lastly I would take a look at the k10-kasten-operator-rhmp-controller-manager logs. Both Helm and OpenShift Operator are two different Operators. ThanksEmmanuel

failed to list API resources

Hello I would also recommend seeing if you can run even K10 API commands.  kubectl auth can-i get apiservicesand kubectl auth can-i get policiesIf this says no then you do not have RBAC permissions to access these API’s but so far I would say this is likey the account you are logged in lack’s RBAC permissions to even list api-resources or token is invalid. ThanksEmmanuel

Do Kasten support taking snapshot for Azure File PVC

Hello @Jasdeep  Sadly, this is not a reliant factor of K10. The CSI driver has to support snaphotting as well restoring of the snapshot. Hello @penguinpages  What are you seeing when you run the following command after K10 install?  kubectl get po -n kasten-io Are you still needing assistance with uninstalling K10? It would be ideal to let Helm uninstall K10. As deleting the namespace directly often get stuck as K10 has many API’s that are required to be removed first as the other API Object’s will look for these to be removed.  ThanksEmmanuel

Export to S3 after Backup

Hello @mario.t  So, the error “command terminated with exit code 1” shows that the error is external from executor. You will need to rerun the task and gather the logs from all three executor pods to see what was occuing on the export pods during this time. ThanksEmmanuel

@Aaron Oneal  This sounds like a issue with removing the volumesnapshots during the retireaction sadly we will need K10 logs for more details on this issue as to why this is occuring.

Hello @alifiroozi80  So this is a hardlimit of the EFS CSI driver, my guess is a configuration issue related to the “Path” attribute making the creation of the PVC volume past 100 character’s. Hello Richard, One of the errors means that you are unable to access any clusterimagepolices, the other means that primer is not running as root. Both of these are ok and will continue the process of verifying cluster environment is configured for K10. ThanksEmmanuel
