Hello forum,

When I try to create a new BR on the repository server, ‘theserver03’ is listed twice.
For each server, if i click `Populate`, they show the exact same list of paths.

  1. Hyper-V standalone host
  2. Microsoft Windows

Not sure what is going on, and what I need to do?

Thanks much, David

It is listed twice as it is added as both a Windows server and hyper-v server.   Not sure if there is a way to fix that or not.  May want to reach out to support.

Hi @asdffdsa6132 -

You’re trying to create a new Repository on theserver03? You seem to have the HV role installed on this same Windows as well? It would make sense it’s listed twice because it is both Windows and has the HV role on it, as Chris stated. If this server is also where you have storage connected for a Repository, there shouldn’t be any issue. Is this the only Host you have to use for HV? If so, then I don’t think you can change the behavior shown...but would need to verify I guess with Support as Chris suggested.

As for contacting support, i am just a community edition user on my home lab.
