If I upgrade to Veeam v11 to v12, the storage target is ExaGrid appliance (the backup flow is directly write to this appliance), what are the software requirements for ExaGrid Appliance, e.g. firmware? Please help.

Also, the #2 superscript is referring to the appliance also needing to meet Veeam Repository requirements as it also uses the Veeam Transport service. So, check out Repo requirements as well.
