Hi guys,

 

have you ever happened to upgrade your servers, for example Veeam for Office 365, and then hear customers complain because they can no longer connect to the provider using Veeam explorers?

How frustrating and tiring is it to have to update all clients' explorers every time!

Please Veeam, allow us to update them remotely with VSPC! :)

This is a great suggestion for VSPC.  Be sure to submit it in the Veeam Forums also where Product Management can see it - https://forums.veeam.com

As an alternative to explorers please have a look at our Self Service Restore Portal in Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365.

With it, your customers only require a webbrowser and do not need to rely on explorers. They also don‘t need a VBR server and cloud connect to initiate the connection.

 

Our next release of VSPC (v7) will also include self service job management for Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 organizations and backup jobs.

thank you for the reply , we already use the restore portal, but it has some limitations..

In my opinion it is still better using the VEE if the client has a VBR local installation.
