customer is transitioning (hopefully) from netbackup to Veeam however netbackup appliances are achieving 10:1, 15:1 and even 20:1.
Our new targets with Veeam will be NetApp e-series so I’m therefore looking for use cases around Veeams capability to dedup/compress etc. What ratios could we see? Use cases? real life experiences etc.
Yes fully understand its all about the data but I’m thinking about typical VMs, maybe some SQL databases etc.
Would appreciate your experiences.
