I don’t want to sound like an old grumpy grand pa but.. Software is a mass noun so you don’t make a plural form out of it. I just bet and won $20 that there is no such thing as Softwares :) . Now that does not mean that language does not evolve over time, but so far that is still the case.

+22That one is easy. If someone comes up to me and hands me a suitcase of $$$$ then they can use softwares and monies to their heart’s content. I did not want try and suggest that I have some kind of integrity or something :). . Like the song says “its all about the Benjamins!!” or in Canada that would be “Sir Robert Borden” (the Canadian version would kind of kill the rhythm of the song though) :(
