Hello Everyone,
As I know in the new 12.1 features, we can restore app items from CDP. How could we enable application-aware here? and which applications should be supported? because 12.1 documentation still not available yet.

Hi,
it’s the same as in 12 with regards to creating an application consistent long term restore point, https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backup/vsphere/cdp_policy_guest.html?ver=120
Then your long term restore points can be used as restore points for your application recoveries
