I'd just like to know… What do you all think about this:
Almost 1 hour to backup a VM to a completely offsite reposittory.
Obs.: It was across the Internet, not in some private network.

I don't know about Brazil. But in some areas in Germany 2 MB/s transfer rate across the internet are not bad. 
And I thought that Internet in Brazil was bad.
How far was that? Was it to VCC or over a VPN etc? Any bandwidth throttling?
It is offsite repository in another state than mine. In this case my VM’s are not so big.
So I’m thinking about to send them to this other repository with backup copy feature.
I’m still testing at this moment.

Seems about right. Depends on a few factors like VM size, bandwidth, WAN Acceleration used, etc.
