Happy World Backup Day, Veeam Community!

First of all, come and join us today for the celebration of World Backup Day with LinkedIn Live event hosted by @Rick Vanover and Didier Van Hoye, Microsoft MVP and Veeam Vanguard 🎧

Secondly, you have probably noticed Alfred the Cat on the new home page header banner? (YES, he’s back!)

Well, there are some easter eggs hidden, each based on certain Veeam features and technologies!

Will you be able to find them all?

Share your answers in the comments and let's see who'll collect them all first! :nerd:

Ok, I was looking for some hidden functions on the site or picture…

When the question is for topics on the picture, then this could be the new tape functions

Or this the hardened linux repo or the new linux proxy

Looking forward to our session later today :sunglasses:

Happy World Backup day….

The umbrella maybe insider protection?

Alfred should get a cap and some winter clothes as he’s probably sitting on the top of a ‘Glacier’ :snowflake::rofl:

I‘m not gonna reveal the answers now, but will share afterwards! Just to give a chance to others to guess

The right one is cloud backup.

Well, I believe it’s time to reveal the features and technologies hidden in the Alfred homepage banner!

Thanks everyone for your guesses, that was really fun to see all your ideas coming!

From left to right:

  1. Hardened Linux Repository
  2. Veeam DataLabs
  3. Veeam Agent for Mac
  4. Native tape support
  5. Instant Recovery for databases
  6. eDiscovery with Veeam Explorer
  7. Amazon S3 (with ‘Glacier’ snowflakes around!)
  8. Cloud Connect

True but S3 compatible does not yet support any glacier stuff yet only AWS S3 but you are right the snowflakes kind of give it away :)

Possibly I found something new:

Veeam for Web Developers → modern apps → Kubernetes (no one said up to now) → Kasten.

… possibly a bit far-fetched

Instant SQL Recovery
