Hello,

Feature request for ‘Veeam Backup and Replication’ client.

When viewing/selecting an active job provide the option to ‘Follow’ most recent activity. This is helpful if you have a job active with many objects in the job from a visibility perspective.

Currently, if you have a job with 20 objects being backed up and you select an object in progress, when the object completes the viewed object stays displayed instead of following to the subsequent active object being backed up.

Thanks

Please note that feature request need to be posted in the Veeam Forums as Product Management does not look here - https://forums.veeam.com

Alright I will post it over there, thanks!

Interesting idea, but what happens when there are many tasks running at once? Would you want it to jump to the next one even if it’s at 99%? Many backup jobs have 100’s of VM’s being backed up and this could make it difficult. What if you are in the middle of reading the information from that task right as it finishes?

Some thought would have to be put into this as everyone’s environment is different.

Interesting idea however, and you now have the request in the right location.

Thanks for sharing that and I will go upvote it.  😎
