creating new proxy - getting disk access denied

not sure what the issue is but im using local admin credentials to add these new proxy servers into my backup infra. subsequently when creating new jobs these proxies are not showing up as availble for usage. any ideas?

Did you get disk access denied when creating the proxy? Or has it created the proxy? There’s two stages to component deployment, first is registering the server within Veeam’s topology, and then the second is creating the “proxy” itself. This is because a server could contain multiple roles such as proxy + repository. What type of proxy are you deploying & which type of job are you creating? I ask this because it might be you want a VMware backup proxy but you’ve deployed a file proxy
