Cleaning tape CLNU00 is in unrecognized media and checking on the properties Wear is N/A. Is there anyway we can change to number of usage?

Ohh...ok @csaha77 . Yep, it appears when cleaning tapes the Properties is supposed to show the status, as seen here in the User Guide:
https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backup/vsphere/identifying_tapes.html?ver=120

So, if you’re not cleaning a certain tape, it won’t show “wear” information. If you are, it’s hard to say why Veeam isn’t showing this data, and I recommend you open a case with Veeam Support to see what the issue may be. Maybe the issue is the Tape is in the ‘unrecognized’ media pool?

Hi @csaha77 -

Are you asking for a feature enhancement or suggestion? If so, your best bet to do so would be to post this in the Forums.

I am asking why the cleaning tape is not showing Wear status? It does show wear status right when in tape library?

This might be a library feature as well. My Tape Library tells me the usage of my cleaning tape. Not Veeam.
