How can I perform backup verifcation or sure backup in our NSX-T environment? We need to perform restore test regulary. So what kind of options do we have?

Heartbeat test would be ok.

With Heartbeat test, you do not need net-access to “SureBackuped” VM. With other words, if the VM is not reachable in network, SureBackup just tests VMware tools Heartbeat. From this point of view, I am not sure if it matters at all if you use NSX-T.

Hey, thank your for your information.

Yes, heartbeat test is a workaround that we are going to try. But this will not be enough in the feature. We need to do some sure replica and sure backup verifcation in an nsx-t environment. Internal but also on VMC on AWS. So it would be a feature we will need in the future.
