Is this a space issue or is the file corrupted.

Is this a VM backup you trying to run on a Hyper-V environment?
Anyway, it sounds not enough space on D disk.
+7That sounds like your repository has run out of space which in turn can lead to data corruption depending on the type of backup job you are running. I.e. You might have an orphaned backup chain where it may have not saved data correctly.
