Hello everyone,

I faced a weird issue, I am not sure it’s normal or not, however it wasn’t like that before. The issue is when adding Proxy or Repo by clicking “Add New” it doesn’t work and show errors in the installation, however when add the machine in advance from adding servers, then add it as Proxy or Repo from the existing servers, it works. Please advise.

What sort of errors? Are the errors in VBR or with the server you’re trying to deploy to? Need some info please!

error while installing the components. But when I add the same server from Add Server, then select it from the server list, it works fine. So, doing it one step from adding server from adding proxy or repo doesn’t work, I have to do it on two steps.

If you go into the logs, what is the error? Typically I’d expect some error around timeouts if this is happening a certain way, maybe a stressed CPU isn’t letting it deploy all components at once or something. Logs will have a lot of detail there though if you can share some

I’d check the logs. Is there a firewall in between the servers?
