Hi
Welcome to the Community. I don’t use Veeam Backup for Nutanix personally, but in looking at the User Guide and creating a Backup Job, it doesn’t look like there’s an option in the Job creation process to specify a specific Worker like you’re able to choose (Proxy) for vSphere Backup Jobs.

Unless someone else has any suggestions, I think your best bet is to check with Veeam Support to see if this can be done. I saw a Forums post where someone was inquiring about Worker “optimization”. A bit different worded question than yours...but in my mind also could be similar in scope/purpose. There are no responses on it yet, but may be worth monitoring and adding your take as well:

Best.
Hi
While configuring the worker, you can manually select the host or instruct Veeam Backup for Nutanix AHV to choose a host automatically. Manual selection may be helpful if you want to avoid launching workers on specific hosts (for example, production ones), while automatic selection allows Veeam Backup for Nutanix AHV to optimize data transfer and to balance the load on the hosts in the Nutanix AHV cluster. In the latter case, Veeam Backup for Nutanix AHV uses the AHV affinity functionality to distribute workers among all hosts in the cluster instead of launching multiple workers on one host.
This means Veeam, deploying the worker, uses the affinity (as per VMWare). So the backups will already be optimized based on the worker on the Nutanix Prism rules.
