Are there any plans for a Meetup this year? Virtual or In-Person

I’ve not heard anything yet but great idea to have one at some point this year.

We do need to plan something. What would be the preference on virtual VS physical event?

@Ian Sanderson I’d say probably virtual is the easiest to setup?

 

I think a physical one would be good but we could look to plan that in at some point and have a virtual one first?

Hey @MarkBoothman , thanks for asking the question. We were planning to hold monthly virtual meet ups, but that was more on me getting over excited. The other leaders calmed me down, and we had a talk. The plan for 2024 is more realistic quarterly virtual events, working towards an in-person event later in the year.

 

So no definite dates but we’re working towards the following

April - virtual meet up
July - virtual meet up
November - in-person event.

We’ll share more definite dates as soon as we have locked them in.
