Hello,

We recently implemented a new retention policy for our VBM jobs, set to 6 months instead of 10 years. However, we still observe the presence of restore points from the old retention policy.

Would it be possible to delete data exceeding the 6-month threshold in accordance with the new retention policy?

Thank you for your responses.

You can delete them but I would recommend using the Veeam Console to do this as you would not want to use explorer to delete files.

Hello Chris,

I think you're talking about the VBR console, while I'm talking about Veeam Backup for Office 365.

Hello Chris,

Ok well that was not in the OP as just VBM was mentioned which could mean VBR.  For VB365 you may need to let the restore points age out.  I have never tried to deleted restore points and it is more difficult with the JetDB and configuration.  I would suggest contacting Support.
