Veeam ONE 12.1 delivers proactive management with real-time visibility to ensure confidence in your ability to monitor and maintain cyber resilience. With the new Veeam Threat Center, you can ensure compliance, platform health, data protection and data security all in a single space with an overall score to know exactly where your backup environment stands. Veeam ONE has added more enhancements to support Veeam Backup & Replication v12.1 including object storage, Veeam Malware Detection and Best Practices. This includes new alarms and reports to help ensure compliance, identify missing RPOs, and receive details about malware anomalies detected across workloads and restore points. This release includes interoperability with ServiceNow and Syslog to enhance incident response ensuring effective monitoring for data protection.
Major features of Veeam 12.1 include:
- Veeam Threat Center, a comprehensive view of your environment across the Veeam Data Platform. The Threat Center provides a Security Scorecard, Global Malware Detection Map, RPO Anomalies Overview and SLA Compliance Overview.
- Malware Detection Report that provides details of all potential suspicious and detected malware on your Veeam Backup & Replication Servers.
- Backup & Security Compliance Report that helps identify missed security and compliance checks and provides recommendations for fixing them.
- Protected Files and Object Storage Report to identify protected and unprotected unstructured file and object storage data that includes last backup job status.
- ServiceNow integration allowing you to create an incident within ServiceNow when an alarm is triggered.
- Syslog SIEM integration with the ability to send alarms and data for events reuse to a Syslog Server environment
- New Veeam ONE installer
Along with the above items, alarms have been added to support malware detection, backup security & compliance as well as protected files and object storage. This was a great release that enhanced the alarm lifecycle, monitoring for the new VBR 12.1 features and data resilience.
