Veeam App for Splunk is a Splunk extension that allows you to monitor the health and security status of the backup infrastructure within Veeam Data Platform.
The app processes syslog events sent by Veeam Backup & Replication to the syslog server and provides Splunk users with the following features:
- Predefined dashboards to monitor job statuses and security events
- Predefined Splunk proactive reports and alerts
- Severity level management for events and alerts
- Scalable, supporting multiple Veeam Backup & Replication servers
- Protect data from multiple source locations
- Role-based user permissions
- App configuration backup
Veeam App for Splunk supports both Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Cloud Platform.
