Microsoft has recently released the ‘Microsoft Digital Defense Report 2024’ that is worth a read. It is quite comprehensive but the key takeaway is that the threat landscape is ‘Complex, challenging, and increasingly dangerous’

• Threat actors are becoming better prepared and resourced
• Nation states are starting to become more aggressive
• AI is going to be increasingly leveraged.
• Still a lot more to be done
