I think i found a bug in the VM Replication option of the “Machines” Tab.

The Advanced options are not working. For whatever number you put in the “Forcast period”, “Growth rate” and “Compress by” fields the results are always the same!

Thanks for the post!

Compression does change the bandwidth result and that’s all that it should change for replication. Replication stores the VM as a 1:1 for the initial run and then stacking restore points on top of that. The resulting storage required will not change from compression settings.

However, I do see some other issues with what you pointed out and will be looking into that. Stay tuned for an update!
