Hi, I would like to know if there is a way to automate some recurring tasks in vmware and that is launched from some error detected in the execution of backups from Veeam backup.

You have some options using the Vrops, but for the purpose you need i don’t know.
Options you have in Vrops:
Alson you can use the VMware vRealize Log Insight, to identify the error.
For best practice in my environment i use the delete old snapshot ( All the snapshots older than 4 days).
