Yesterday I found a strange behavior in the Veeam PowerShell cmdlet Remove-VBRSureBackupJob. What happens: when you use this cmdlet to remove a certain SureBackup-Job using the parameter -Job, ALL SureBackup-Jobs will be deleted!. In my environment version 11.0.0.837 P20210525 was used. It seems the be a bug.

[update] In the meantime Veeam confirmed that it is a bug. Also in v11a!

So when you test or plan to using scripted SureBackups, do not use Remove-VBRSureBackupJob currently!

Luckily, we don’t have any SureBackup jobs to delete at the moment so all good at the moment.
