Yesterday I found a strange behavior in the Veeam PowerShell cmdlet Remove-VBRSureBackupJob. What happens: when you use this cmdlet to remove a certain SureBackup-Job using the parameter -Job, ALL SureBackup-Jobs will be deleted!. In my environment version 11.0.0.837 P20210525 was used. It seems the be a bug.

pupdate] In the meantime Veeam confirmed that it is a bug. Also in v11a!

So when you test or plan to using scripted SureBackups, do not use Remove-VBRSureBackupJob currently!

Definitely not a funny bug.

Thanks for the heads up!

You are welcome! I hope you did not run into the issue!

Ouch, did not know this! Thanks for sharing.

Luckily, we don’t have any SureBackup jobs to delete at the moment so all good at the moment.

Thanks for sharing.
