Recreated Backup with Automatic selection, rescan backup proxy and check credentials for vcenter servers.

ok went to the Backup proxies and when trying to delete error Unable to delete the selected proxy because it carries additional backup infrastructure roles
@Chris.Childerhose In the managed servers, the backup server is showing not available and has a red cross besides the servername, when rescan, host discovery failed with error access denied, RPC call. When trying to delete from Backup Proxy, error Unable to delete the selected proxy because it carries additional backup infrastructure roles
@Chris.Childerhose Tried to remove the proxy from managed server but getting error unable to delete the selected host because it carries one or more backup infrastructure role. Did you remove Veeam components from proxy server? What components did you remove?
@coolsport00 ,@kristofpoppeThank you for the quick response. Are the logfiles located in the root of C;\ProgramData\Veeam\Backup ? I found warning message error in warning of the backup job. Also wanted to track them in log file But did not find the error in Svc.VeeamBackup, but it had backup logs.
We resolved this issue by changing administrator password in Backup repository.
Configuration were already set for the vsphere host but the job showed error message today. So I enter the password in managed server but that did not resolve the issue
Getting this error now after rescanning the new host Error: The RPC server is unavailable. RPC function call failed. Function name: [GetSvcVersion]. Target machine: [mx06bak01.cts.ctscorp.com:6160]. Job finished with error at 8/28/2023 1:42:22 PM

So it look like even if we purchase Veeam license we cannot use NAS device for Cloud backup.
Is there an article you share that will backup the data

@JMeixner Checked the logs but could not find any error. So I guess after error message the cleaning operation started.
Thanks for the feedback. Backup job is linked to VMWare vct client. I will check the firewall rules or other network issue and let you know soon. Thanks to the Veeam Community members. You are the best. Since I am newbie Veeam user and have lot of questions but I always get support from the community.
@JMeixner Thank you for all your patience. I have reached out to Veeam representative and they have provided support to show different options on Tape restore.
@JMeixner Status as of now the backup files are stored in G:\Restore\Backups\XX - Backup Job\Backups\Backups\xx - Backup Job According to your instructions we need to import the backup file where? I selected the job in G drive. Only can see vbk file and not vib.
