Hi @drews and welcome here! While not specific to object storage in general, if I have to use AWS S3, I’ve really liked this website tool to check performance to different public AWS S3 resources across regions: Amazon Web Services Network Performance | CloudHarmony
@SchrepfV have you tried to create recovery USB from another PC and the use that to boot into recovery from yours? If there’s no RAID or particular driver, it should works. This was my suggestion next - I think the ability of the source PC to make a boot media may be the question at this point. So I can say that I’ve made recovery images across many systems, never had an issue. I’ve shared them left right up and down and they work well, including across versions. The epitome of “it works” but “may not be supported” - so try a different PC, install the free agent, make a recovery image and try again. Will say, I’ve been fiddling with the agent since 2014, never seen this situation.
Great to see you two actually together & talking, adds a whole new dimension to these recaps! Congrats to all mentioned & thanks for the shout-outs, sorry for stealing the news! Didn’t know it’d be on this recap!!! See you on the Sysadmin Friday Tech Bites 😀 You were on recap twice-ish and on the stream. Setting the bar high @MicoolPaul !
I have a new “Double-Play” configuration that actually has both copies requiring 4-eyes recovery - a special hat-tip to ExaGrid Retention Time Lock and a Cloud Connect Backup with Insider Protection. This is a very resilient specimen friends!

Hello, I have a Hyper-V host with 2012 R2 on it and already added to Veeam as a host and it was working fine. One day I found a VM backup job fail. Hello. I have the same problem. I have Windows Hyper-V Server 2016. Updates were installed yesterday and I think the problem is in KB5014702 Like this update broke a working cluser?
