My DXi V5000 unit I set up with - 4 vCPU and 24GB RAM by the way. Wow, why so many RAM? That option you need to turn on for Veeam requires 16GB or something like that. 😂 Nice to know! I definitely need more RAM for my homelab. 😅
You also can use PowerShell to get an information about programs. Look for this: Get-WmiObject -Class Win32_Product | where vendor -eq 'Veeam Software Group GmbH' | select Name, Version It is resulting a simple table like that: You are not able to see the tracking of patches would you like to see. But you can check if all Veeam programs are in the latest update version acording KB2680. Fine, this is a good Powershell query. But then you have to know that e.g. Veeam Distribution Service in version 22.214.171.1245 is Veeam Backup and Replication Version 11a Patchlevel P20220302. You cannot query this level. Yeah! Is only possible to see the version, not the build.

At least for the installed main version you can list all updates. Settings → System → Apps & Features. Then search for Veeam and sort over install date (I have a screenshot in German language only). Unfortunately no version numbers are shown... Just to remember that on the old Control Panel you can still see the number version.
Just to add some info I saw during upgrade: if you already have installed version “VeeamBackup&Replication_126.96.36.1991_20211211”, upgrade by mounting iso can show up a message about “repair installation” and not “upgrade”. You should use .exe patch instead .iso of full installation. Perfect @marcofabbri!Good to remember.
As we can see, Internet and MPLS link are both with the same throughput. So, I will choice a Linux hardened repository on DR site with BC jobs copying backups site to site. On this way we can have immutability on DR side given that production side we don’t.
Congratulations to everyone who made it to the #VeeamVanguard program! It´s not possible to accept everyone who´s applying at all, as Shane would wish - we need to keep the number of members similar as in previous years, rather than growing to the size of other tech programs out there, so we´re able to provide an exclusivity, the highest possible expertise knowledge level of Veeam products of its members, equal access to the opportunities we´re providing to Vanguards during the year, etc. I would like to encourage everyone who applied and was not chosen to remain active, share their knowledge and reach out to me at firstname.lastname@example.org in case you´d like to ask for the right path to jump at for increasing your chances for next year application being succesfull. I even recommend this kind of conversation with @NikolaPejkova to stay in tune with all aspects of Veeam Vanguard program. Thank you for your words on these days.
