Announcing the "MEET THE ARCHICTECT" Interview Series!

I love this @Geoff Burke !!! That so funny! Just remember that piece of paper sometimes is the one which make the difference between you and your competitor or the difference of you as a candidate in an interview, so it also has value as a differentiator in the market! It is your stamp of quality! :) Can’t wait to see the rest of interview! I loved the idea!    I completely agree @Federica . The other argument that I like to use, is that we as human beings have to set some kind of measurability to things. Nothing is perfect and there are always room for errors but we must set standards otherwise there is chaos. When it comes to certifications and degrees I ask the question “would you go to a person claiming to be a doctor, i.e. trust your health with someone who has no medical degree?” If the person says yes then good luck.  Again no one claims that someone with a VMCA will not make mistakes, or that they are always better than someone without that certification, but you wi

Doubs about certifications (VMSP/VMTSP)

Hey @DaniV!@JMeixner is right. You have to pick at least one learning stream to have a VMSP or VMTSP, doing just foundation will not give you the badge.See example below.Of course the more badges you have, the better for you ;)Hope this helps!

Hey @MicoolPaul  ! I cannot disclose your company details in public, so I will reach you by DM. :)What for sure I can say is any company WILL not be demoted for VMCA or VMCE, if they kept the right certification up till now. Oh. BTW both VMCE and VMCA exams for v12 are now available and can be taken!

VMCE v12 x VMCE 2021

Hello veeam community!   As we know, the VMCE v12 is comming soom and with that a new exam with new topics including building backup capabilities, restoring from backup and advanced repository functionalities, etc are coming too.   But at this moment my questions is about VMCE 2021. Do you know how long we can still book the exam VMCE 2021? Do you think it's still worth trying to pass VMCE 2021 or its better wait for v12 exam?   Hey there! VMCE v12 training has been available since September 1st and the exam will be public available in few days (October 1st). You can take the exam for v11 and v12 until end of the year, after that date, v11 will be retired and you will not have any possibility to sit in the v11 exam. Passing v11 or v12 exam is your choice, if you are eligible, my suggestion would be to attend the v12 course first, if you want to attend the v12 exam.

VMCE 2021/VMCA 2022 Expiration

Hi @MicoolPaul and @Geoff Burke your certification never expires, you are fully certified, in the latest version right now. So your individual certification is not at risk.  You have more people certified than requested, so there is not risk. In case you would have contributed to your company level with your certification, as said before, partners would have had an extension on those 24 months, and their status would have not be affected. Is this a promise you will take the exam as soon as it is available? ;)
