Okay I see them under Backups/Disk. Thank you for your patience!
Okay here are bigger screen shots-Job with error:Inventory:I blurred some items intentionally. The job status shows this whole job lasted only 45 seconds or so. I showed the lower pict to demonstrate that we are picking up the inventory at the vCenter level and all those VM’s should be included in the job.
Well, I did cancel the job but the VM still seems to be running. I will remember your warning on cancelling the job. I have other issues to resolve, hence I will start another thread. Thank you all!
Migrate to production is grayed out since the IR failed. So no migration is possible. So if the IR failed it still is locking files? Seems like it.
I meant I just started working at the present position in January. Sorry. Don’t know why the recovery was done even though the VM seems to be running in vCenter. I did not initiate the recovery.
I could have bit me. Yes I see a FAILED instant recovery there that was started mid-January (I just started this job in January, still getting my sea legs so to speak). Opening up that console I get this in the screenshot:It’s basically a failed IR even though the VM seems to be running. If I kill that IR will this free things up?
Thank you all! I remembered something recently and rifled thorugh my emails for an email from my boss about certificates. Sure enough a few weeks ago he renewed the vCenter certificate. I found a discussion on this site that said “go to Backup Infrastructure, select the Vcenter Server, click through the dialogs and click finish. Looks like Inventory now shows all the vm’s. Not exactly sure I saw all of them before. Thank you! ...alan
