VeeamON 2024 | #BounceForwardThrowback (Win Custom Shoes!)
Hi everyone,in my case, this kind of warning on K10 plugin only started unexpectedly after upgrading to 12.0.0.1420 (P20230718).Veeam support suggested to remove it if not used, but, as far I know, all cloud plugins (AWS, Azue, K10, Google) are installed during a new installation or an upgrade of Veeam Backup & Replication, so, instead of uninstalling the plugin, I decided to upgrade K10 plugin from 12.0.1.3 to 12.0.1.4.Steps followed:Uninstall the K10 plugin 12.0.1.3 Reboot the Veeam server Install the 12.0.1.4 K10 pluginIt has worked! Configuration backup has no more warning. Hope it helps.
I usually set up jobs for VMs which will then be decommissioned. We keep these backups for years and remove backup jobs for a clean situation. When removing a job, I personally don't like the "Disks Orphaned" entry: it sounds like something wrong but it's just a cosmetic consideration. In fact, I prefer "Disks Imported". This can be achieved in this way: delete the backup job, execute "Remove from configuration" on the backup file and then perform a rescan of the Backup Repository. Backup will be listed in the “Disks Imported” section and the repository column will display right informations. I hope it will be useful.
