Are you able to restore individual files using Agent when selecting a whole Volume to backup? Yes :) Volume level and File level backups can be used for single file restore. If you chose entire Volume, you will not be able to select an individual file to restore, as noted in the User Guide, 3rd paragraph down. Never heard of such limitation. And paragraph 3 is not about guest file level restore. It redirects you to the file level restore guide in case you want todo a single file restore from a volume backup.

Hardened repositories are using XFS as the filesystem.XFS provides FastClone support with the help of the reflink feature. We reference existing blocks instead of duplicating them when you synthesize a full backup file. This makes synthetic full backup file almost spaceless. Less physical storage is used, but Veeam still shows the file size of all full backup files and immutable files. It‘s because the XFS filesystem on top of the volume reports us the file size of the backup files and ignores the space savings by the XFS filesystem. It is a known request that our customers want to see the real physical storage usage with space savings in the Veeam console. We are looking i to this request but there is no ETA when we can deliver this information. Best,Fabian
Wasabi is not a hardened repository. Hardened repositories run on a linux machine and are block based backup storages, while Wasabi is an object storage based backup storage.If no other backup server is writing to the same bucket, it may be a know issues with obsolete deletion markers or orphaned objects. To me this is a support ticket and possibly posting on the forums - https://forums.veeam.com Our customer support team takes care of such issues. Unfortunately we (product management) cannot fix technical issues over a forum topic. Our customer support team is equipped with the tools and the right training to analyze log file packages from our products. Log files will tell us what the cause of this issue is.For me this looks like a database issue. Either a support technician can fix it, or the database must be reseted to zero. Which means job configuration and other settings will be lost.I would definitely wait for our support engineers to provide a solution after analyzing the logs. Best,Fabian

Sorry I can’t help directly @SupportEngineer32 . But, what I do suggest is pinging the Product Manager in the forums. You already created a Support ticket, so just provide that & see if they’re aware of this issue you’re having and, if there is a fix for it. @SupportEngineer32 has an open ticket with iLand. Veeam doesn‘t have any access to iLand internal ticket system.I would say it makes more sense that iLand reaches out directly to us if the veeam support case of iLand doesn‘t bring a fast solution. Only the service provider is eligible for support cases with Veeam, not the tenant which uses the rental license. Best,Fabian

Folks any worries about this message “Changing backup repository may require performing a full backup. Previous restore points associated with this job will be unavailable”? I mean that does not fill me with confidence to say the least. Since all the data is there should it not just see it and move on doing incrementals? thanks Where do you saw that message?First backup may be an full sync. Meaning the job needs to check if all items from M365 are in the new repository.But it will run just an incremental download for the changed or new items.All previous restore points will still be available. you’ll lose Proxy services during backup of VMs, which would resort your backup job to network (nbd) mode. But, your backup jobs should still run. @coolsport00 NDB is not involved in this scenario.NDB is a vSphere backup transport method. But the author of this topic is using HyperV. For HyperV we have On-Host and Off-Host proxies.Just moving the backup server vm to the other host will most likely not interfere with current backups. You repository server and HyperV host with the production VMs must still be available over the network. Then jobs will work. If you move your production VMs to the other host, some manual changes maybe necessary. Without a HyperV cluster or SCVMM configuration, those production VMs will be recognized as new VMs. Backup jobs must be edited and a new active full backup must be run. Best,Fabian

Hello @dabc Yes, you can use the same license for both sites. The only requirement, both sites must belong to the same company/organization.If you install a backup server per site to protect workloads of those sites, you must install the enterprise manager to manage the license. Best,Fabian
