We’ve debated a lot the need for this. Official answer:No plans to share publicly at this time.Extra Rickatron PoV:Here is what some people do to achieve the same result. A few have gotten at parts of it above:B&R Server A is what you want to keep as available as possible Set up B&R Server B (Can even be Windows 11...)  and set up a replication job if your B&R Server A is virtual. Have N+1 proxies that you need Have SOBR and 3-2-1 rule in use everywehre This is a good way to ‘fail over’ to a B&R replica, as it is marginally quicker than a configuration backup being restored. However, I highly recommend everyone be familiar with a configuration backup restore.

Hey @MM599 → for your question, “In DR, there is also a NetApp, So could we then present iSCSI Storage from the DR NetApp to the 2 x Replica VMs, login to them, online the inguest iSCSI Storage, so that if we need to failover the prod VMs, the iSCSI Storage will be there ready?” I believe the target would be  without in-guest iSCSI. However, I highly recommend the following two important things:Do a proof of concept (if you are not already). Contact your Veeam technical expert either from your reseller partner or part of the Veeam team to your territory.I love the Veeam Recovery Orchestrator product, but it can be seen as the most complicated offering in the Veeam Data Platform. I recommend you get the account team involved.

VRO can protect both Agent-based Veeam backups and VM-based Veeam Backups (VMware only). It would be just two different plans: -One or more plans of ‘regular’ VMs (Non-iSCSI guesting)-One or more plans of Agent-based backups of these VMs with in-guest iSCSI

Ah good one. On the in-guest iSCSI, this is not supported by Veeam Backup & Replication (which Veeam Recovery Orchestrator “orchestrates”), so the Veeam Agents would have to be used.  The Veeam Recovery Orchestrator product does support orchestration of Veeam Agent backups, but the ‘target’ would not be in-guest iSCSI volumes I believe without scripting. I’d want to know about the DR site, did you intent to do in-guest iSCSI there?

Rick - what do you think of the ability to be able to add folders exclusions, as a future feature enhancement? It appears it would have value. Thoughts? Just you wait on feature requests :) I have something brewing.

I believe the logic now is per-server exclusion OR per-file type exclusion.It doesn’t have the ability to exclude a set of file types on a selection of servers.  I like the recommendation above by @Link State

Some feedback on the new capture tool @Rick Vanover -- love how it works and the layout.  The zoom piece missing as not a big deal but nice to see the screen much easier - mind you I watched the video on the community site not sure if any different from YouTube. There was a part of the video that sounded choppy unless that was my side, but great overall.  👍🏼 Thank you @Chris.Childerhose  I don’t do New Year’s Resolutions but a loose goal is to increase the production quality of the recap. We self-capture (vs the video team who does the Tech Bites, Veeam 100 Show, etc.) - we’re getting there.

Veeam for M365 OneNote Backup Fails with 'changed during the backup'

Veeam released the CU (P20240123 (7.1.0.1501) last week. It fixed some issues, but I am not sure it will fix this issue. It’s worth trying, and let us know. https://www.veeam.com/kb4533?ad=in-text-link That was my thought as well @CarySun

Hi Folks, that was a lot of fun. @Rick Vanover is too humble that studio is first class and getting everything to work would require a degree in audio/visual engineering in my opinion but he did it!
