Best Practice para proteger un servidor de Veeam Backup Server

Hola, un punto muy importante aqui, antes que el sistema operativo, es  el archivo de configuracion, aqui necesitas tener un esquema 3 - 2 - 1 = 0 error como dices pero es super importante que este encriptado, si no esta encriptado te llevas la sorpresa que cuando lo restauras no tenes las credenciales de ningun tipo en la nueva instalacion.Ahora, sin lugar a dudas como dice Elvis, podrias tener listo un template con VMware y distribuirla por tus distintos sitios con el Content Library. Y te llevaria solo el tiempo en levantar esa VM.Pero aqui tienes otro punto quizas leventas el VBR pero tus backups estan encriptados por el ransomware, entoces tambien me preocuparia por tener un repositorio con inmutabilidad.Y en definitiva si tienes un ataque de ransomware a mi manera de entender los tiempos RTPO son muy dificiles de cumplir.saludos !

Hola Luis, muy buen debate con esta pregunta je, aqui voy re preguntar, como hacen los que eligen tener como almacenamiento principal un StoreOnce o Datadomain, si necesitan hacer multiples IRs, lo probaron? pudieron hacerlo? Saludos !!

Recomendación de unidades para Instalación Veeam Server

Buenas tardes Grupo.   Es la primera vez que voy a instalar veeam con un cliente, he estado leyendo bastante la documentación y viendo los videos de how to, pero no encuentro algún lado que me recomiende como particionar todas las rutas de instalación y en que discos poner las rutas de instalación del veeam server para 100 VM.   Por lo que he leído, seria algo asi:   1.-¿Installation folder al menos de 40 GB en el path A, en esta ruta se instala la base de datos, no seria mejor instalar la base en otra ruta?   2.-¿Write cache folder de al menos 10 Gb en SSD en el path B:?   3.-¿Guest Catalog Folder, en SSD en el path D:, de cuanto espacio?   Ojalá y alguien me pueda dar su recomendación. Gracias de antemano.       Creo que me han llamado !! jejeje 1.-¿Installation folder al menos de 40 GB en el path A, en esta ruta se instala la base de datos, no seria mejor instalar la base en otra ruta?Por el tema de la Base, lo instalas donde tu deseas o crees la mejor opcion en tu entorno, puede s
