Happy World Backup Day, Veeam Community!

First of all, come and join us today for the celebration of World Backup Day with LinkedIn Live event hosted by @Rick Vanover and Didier Van Hoye, Microsoft MVP and Veeam Vanguard 🎧

Secondly, you have probably noticed Alfred the Cat on the new home page header banner? (YES, he’s back!)

Well, there are some easter eggs hidden, each based on certain Veeam features and technologies!

Will you be able to find them all?

Share your answers in the comments and let's see who'll collect them all first! :nerd:

Ok, I was looking for some hidden functions on the site or picture…

When the question is for topics on the picture, then this could be the new tape functions

Or this the hardened linux repo or the new linux proxy

Looking forward to our session later today :sunglasses:

Happy World Backup day….

These are very good guesses, @wolff.mateus and @JMeixner:smile: :sunglasses:

I‘m not gonna reveal the answers now, but will share afterwards! Just to give a chance to others to guess

This is a repo with immutable backups. Alfred is released after the defined retention time…  :joy::joy::joy:

The right one is cloud backup.

Alfred should get a cap and some winter clothes as he’s probably sitting on the top of a ‘Glacier’ :snowflake::rofl:

I would guess immutable backup? So the clock corresponds to the timeframe in which the backup files are protected?

EDIT: Oh @JMeixner already said that...

True but S3 compatible does not yet support any glacier stuff yet only AWS S3 but you are right the snowflakes kind of give it away :)

Darn!

I had a Fire to put out and missed the event.  At least I got my restore in for today.  Happy World Backup Day!

had to leave half way through as well. In the world of backup there is always a restore lurking somewhere :)
