backup copy issue with rotated drive

Backup Copy job to rotating media is not deleting the previously made backup before starting a new one which makes it immediately fail due to not having space.Retention is 2 restore point, repo space 900 gbNeed to manually delete the full backup filesLegacy mode, enabled this repo uses rotated drive option and continue existing backup chainNot seen this in ver 11 , but after ugrade to ver 12.2 it is reported.Vbr ver 12.2Please advise

Brand Building is a Multinational corporation with 10 data centers in North America. The backup Team is located in Boston, and they remotely administer all of the local VBR servers in each DC, which are also members of the production AD. They have fast, secure connections between sites and use Enterprise Manager to manage all of their sites. This also allows them to allocate certain roles to local users. Each location has a tape drive and they have been doing local backup to tape jobs for DR. These tapes are later moved to secure storage outside of the Data Centers but not more than 20KM away. They have a legal requirement to keep Monthly full backups for 7 yearsTheir local repositories are all NTFS on Windows servers. After completing an audit, they are aware that they must increase their protection against ransomware. They would like to replace the local repositories with secure ones. The would also like to add Cloud backups for more redundancy. However, they are worried about extra

Expand Immutable Repository by a NAS

Hi all … greetingsI am deployed an Ubuntu Immutable Repo and its utilization is high. Meanwhile I have a spare QNAP NAS TVS-h1688X, I am thinking if I can use it to expand the immutable repo capacity.Having checked the spec, the QNAP NAS support iSCSI and CIFS, might I use either protocol connect to the Immutable Repo for expansion? Will the immutability maintained because it is controlled at the OS level? Alternatively, leverage of QuObjects make the NAS become S3 compatible storage connecting to the VM host, and add both storage into SOBR, is workable too?

Introduction Prerequisites Configuration Conclusion IntroductionWhile working with Veeam customers recently who wanted to automate Linux re-IP as part of their recovery process using Veeam Recovery Orchestrator (VRO), I started into some exploration to see if I could leverage any existing scripts that could be easily modified to accomplish this. I put my Google Fu to work and found numerous Linux re-IP scripts available online. Several such scripts have been specifically designed to work with Veeam during recovery or failover scenarios. However, when I started building out my lab and testing with some of these, I discovered that the existing scripts either rely on methods specific to certain Linux distributions or employ outdated/deprecated techniques to accomplish the re-IP. Given the diversity of Linux distributions and network management tools, the exact method for re-IP can vary depending on the specific environment. Error adding proxmox host

Hello,I just read this solved topicIt’s very similar to my case but it doesn’t resolve it…The wizzard can connect to my proxmox node with root account, I validate the host key, it get storage information but when I click on “apply” at the end of the process : I try to check in the server log but I can’t see anything significant.In the topic I have linked, it talk about checking logs, can you tel me precisely wich log I can see ?I check on the promox node with journalctl and in /var/log but maybe I’ve missed something ?On the windows veeam B&R server, nothing in the event viewer … The other post solution is to remove MFA from root account, is there an other place to do it than on the proxmox web ui ? Thanks for your help
